Sculpture workshop

Lorri's three-day workshop will present participants with a new way of working with clay. Using fiber-clay (regular ceramic clay with special fibers added to it), she teaches skills and techniques that encourage fragile and elongated forms that are often regarded as impossible to make and fire. The class will culminate in an actual raku firing during which your piece will be fired so that you will leave class with your finished sculpture. Fun, hands-on and experimental, Lorri will teach you the concepts and techniques and then allow you to 'go for it' , opening your mind to a new way of working with clay.
